Our pets have their own dry/wet feed, which is formulated with all the ingredients necessary for their proper development. Attention to foods that are harmful to your pet's health!
Not all foods can be eaten by animals as they can cause poisoning, allergies or even death.
The demanding appetite of cats is known, which makes them very select in the food they eat, which explains why they are less susceptible to poisoning than dogs. The most common foods that can cause poisoning in cats are chocolate, grapes, raisins, avocados, cherries, mushrooms, onions and garlic.
In the case of dogs, the following should be avoided: chocolate, grapes, raisins, nuts, yeast, coffee, sweets containing xylitol, avocado, cherries, mushrooms, alcoholic beverages, onion and garlic.
Also (lactose) milk should be avoided when the dog or cat is adult. This is because both dogs and cats are unable to produce lactase (an enzyme that breaks down lactose) in adulthood. Another risky food is salt. Quantities considered moderate for one person will be excessive for an animal, so the recommendation is not to include salt if you cook something for your dog or cat (rice; chicken).
